As a NON-Nitzschean, I'm saying that Europe is going to HAVE to unite in order to avoid beind swallowed by the American Imperium. As for UK, it's just a pitiful what-once-was. It wants so hard to be "liked" by those who run the USA that it is willing to be the lap-dog for their imperial policies. Bitch-boy Blair(Miss Toni) wants to partake in the spoils from the destruction and plundering of the area where civilisation originated in the first place, Babilonia. Maybe France and Germany would like a piece as well, but they at least realised that they have to deal with the rest of the world, and being on the side of the biggest imperialist power the world has ever known is not going to help them.

Nope, Europe HAS to unite. Joan Collins is denying the inevitable. The world is in the developing stages of the new feudalism, the preparation for what happens when the American Imperiam collapses under its own bullshit.
Germany and France (Russia too) already all got their spoils when Hussein was in power. Nice to see that you worry that Europe should unite but don't really care about Asia, Africa, or South America. Don't they matter to you? Yes, new feudalism. It's what will happen when our national identities are destroyed and we all cower in fear as you'd have us do. Really, you are grasping for straws in the dark, bro'. Don't you already know that the illuminati and the Masons run the world?

Actually, it is going on elsewhere than Europe as well.Example, Libya looking south to the SubSaharan part of Africa rather than dealing with the sheiks, mullahs and other puppets of the USA. The growing alliance between N. Korea, China, and India in order to promote economic growth, that is good.

What the Bush/Kerryites would like to do is break down the world into little, xenophobic tribes, "nations". That makes for a much more efficient control system. Look at the Balkans, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, and now Iraq. That's why all the identity politics in this country, to keep people divided on silly ethnic questions rather than discussing economics.

As for the Masons, I'm not one for conspiracy theories. As far as I see, everything is happening out in the open. It's the economic dialectic, not some shadowy conspiracy that is driving things.

People here who want to find jobs, move to India. You speak English, you've a foot in the door already!!

Actually, you're wrong Jay. If countries remain autonomous, they are harder to control. When their power is consolidated in one centralized area, it's rather easy to exert a nation's power over them. You don't have to be Machiavelli to see that it's easier to manipulate a united europe than it is one that is divided into individual nations.

'Where is your pride for nation? Is it all a matter of "beat the U.S."?'

C'mon. If I'm allegedly devoid of nationalism, I'd hardly
care if my nation 'beat' another nation, now would I?

'Because, if this is your outlook, you will be disappointed. Even if
you get the outcome you desire, the final result will ultimately be
the assimilation of your country into the collective 'european nation'.
By doing so, you will be achieving exactly that which Hitler's armies
and the Russian system couldn't.'

This argument is essentially predicated on cultural
individualisation, upholding socio-cultural norms
and idioms etc. - but there will never exist a bureaucrat
in Brussels capable of dictating another European
country's cultural norms upon another. Juxtaposing this
issue with Hitler's cock-a-hoop genocidal Aryian sociology
just confuses and debases things.

'But then, if this is all you care about your own national identity,
to have it tossed into a generic stew, then what can I say?
Lock arms and march.'

I'm proud to be Welsh, but that doesn't necessarily
infer that I'm feverishly nationalistic. The kind
of feverish nationalism which occurs as a result of
say, 9/11, only blinds one to the consequential problems
which brought about that incident in the first place.
Nationalism is also an exploitable commodity, favoured
by those seeking to secure another term in office, and
of no real benefit to those they seek to govern.

The worth of a conviction is not necessarily related
to the intensity with which it is held, etc.

'btw, playing the blame game only works as long as you have
somebody to blame. Ultimately, after all you point your accusing
finger at are gone, you will be left with merely yourself
to blame. Of course, that's giving it some foresight. Who
would ever expect something like that from this world?'

I don't blame Americans for the global encroachment of American-
isation, I blame self-centered American corporations.
The American populous has nothing to do with this, as
they have no real power (or will to power, at least) to
stop it.

Wow D. You used roughly 1000 letters there to say basically nothing. You sure you don't support the American Democratic Party? lol Ameriphobic tendencies, such as the ones shown throughout this thread, are very dangerous. Just pointing this out. To draw a parallel, it is not unlike the Arabs blaming all their problems on the Jewish presence in the wasteland that the Ottomans ignored for centuries that is now called Israel (sup jay?).

I said nothing, or you were simply unable to
digest it, so ridicule would just have to do?

If things do get (mutually) offensive, then
the post above is where its roots lay,
okay?
